TECHCET's Dr. Karey Holland to Present on Technology Driving Photolithography Materials Growth at SPIE 2025

San Diego, CA, February 20, 2025: TECHCET— the electronic materials advisory firm providing semiconductor materials supply chain information — is excited to have Chief Technical Strategist, Dr. Karey Holland, present on “Semiconductor Technology Roadmaps and Implications to Lithography Materials” at the upcoming SPIE Advanced Lithography + Patterning Conference on February 27, 2025. With the photolithography materials market expected to grow at ~5% CAGR over the coming years, Dr. Holland will examine various technological advancements in semiconductor device fabrication influencing this upwards trend.

As demand for various device types is driven by use in mobile devices, computers, server farms, automotive, industrial and other applications, there is a constant drive to increase function and decrease power usage, which requires additional layers and process steps. Dr. Holland will show technology roadmaps for 3D NAND, DRAM, and Advanced Logic, and demonstrate the technology advancement trends and the resulting impact on photolithography materials requirements.

She will also address the influence of geopolitical shifts on semiconductor manufacturing and supply chains, shedding light on how regional expansions by major chipmakers such as Intel, TSMC, and Samsung are shaping the photolithography landscape.

To hear Dr. Karey Holland’s full talk, attend the SPIE Advanced Lithography + Patterning Conference. Her talk will take place Thursday, February 27, 2025 at 8AM PT at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center, Room 210C.
